WEUC COVID-19 Response Letter No. 15
Dear Willowdale Emmanuel United Church members,
Due to the quickly changing situation with the COVID-19 omicron variant, the WEUC Council convened a special meeting earlier today and made the following decisions regarding upcoming church services and activities effective immediately.
Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service, Dec. 24th, 7:30 p.m., will be live-stream only. The church will be closed to in-person worship.
Sunday Dec. 26, 2021 and Jan. 2, 2022 Services will be live-stream only. The church will be closed to in-person worship.
WEUC Council has given the authority to the COVID Emergency Response Team to make a decision on the status of church services and activities beyond January 2, 2022. With this authority granted, the Emergency Response Team has made the decision to continue with live stream worship services only until January 30th, 2022.
The status of in-person worship services beyond January 31, 2022 will be determined at a later date.
All in-person church activities are postponed until further notice.
During this time, church office will remain open during regular office hours (excluding the holidays).

The Emergency Response Team feels that our church members’ safety and well-being is most important during this unpredictable time.
