Hello to all WE Congregation members and
friends!
Greetings in the name of Jesus, love,
compassion and comforter,
Time goes by, we are entering Pentecost
season, it's growing time in faith from the church calendar, it’s a time for
recreation, all things are growing and becoming fruitful in the world.
We notice that many people come and go
outside, in the streets, malls, parks - doing things to get through their daily
lives. Its different norms and regulations and ways of living during this
Pandemic, yet people seem to be enjoying being outside and enjoying the things
they do in the new norms in order to adjust to this new life style.
When you come by the church, you can see a
beautiful community garden outside of the church building. Some church members
and neighbors planted, caring and nurturing the garden, our staff and
volunteers do take care of the church, flowers and garden. We are blessed to
have such a caring church family and friends.
We notice that many children come with
their parents walk around the garden and playing under the trees of the church -
God says It is so nice to see children.
I can hear.
I would like to meet those children and parents
as well as our church members on Wednesday afternoon. You are welcome to join us in the community
garden, under the tree, where we will ensure safety measures, social distancing
in order to follow the new norms to protect one another.
I hope that each and all of you and
your family continue to be well and healthy in such extraordinary times,
enjoying life with what you do and be, aware that you are loved and you are
called to serve God. During this COVID-19, we all have been experiencing mixed
feelings of fear, learning, and growth.
I pray that you continue to explore those gifts in your life and what it
means to be faithful as we live in this beautiful and venerable world where we
belong.
Blessings!
YoonOk Shin
