WEUC ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANK YOU to everyone who donated to White Gifts to help needy agencies in our community.  We received $510.00 in donations.

ADVENT STUDY GATHERINGS:

English Group: Tuesdays, December  17, 1 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Korean Early Morning Prayer Gathering: Saturdays, December  21, 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with bible readings, hymn singing and reflection followed by breakfast.

DEADLINE FOR CHRISTMAS MEMORIALS: Wednesday December 18. Flowers will be purchased to decorate our sanctuary and to be delivered to sick and homebound members of our congregation with donations made in memory of loved ones.  Please leave your donations in the church office or on the Sunday morning offering plate.  The names of those remembered will be printed in the Sun. December 22nd bulletin.

ADVENT FOUR SERVICE Sunday December 22nd 10:30 a.m.  Children will present a Christmas Pageant during the service.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE AND COMMUNION Tuesday. Dec. 24^th, 7:30 p.m. All welcome to come and share in this wondrous and special time of the year.

FIRST AFTER CHRISTMAS Sunday December 29, 10:30 a.m. Pulpit supply May Hong. Rev. YoonOk will be away from December 26th and back in the office Monday January 6th.

CHRISTMAS FOOD BANK DRIVE: Please help fill the hampers of needy families in our community during this Christmas Season. Baskets are available in the Narthex for non-perishable food items.

HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS:  The church office will be closed from Tuesday December 24th to Friday December 27.  Open December 30th, closed December 31st and January 1st.  Regular office hours resume Thursday January 2nd, 2025.  Please ensure year end offerings have been received no later than December 30th.

DON VALLEY REFUGEE RESETTLERS (DVRR) FUNDRAISING 2024:

HONEY FOR SALE 100% Balsam Lake Wildflower Natural Honey Ontario No. 1 White available from the church office.  $13 for the 500 grams jar (small); $22 for the 1 kilogram jar (large). Contact Lina in the church office. 100% proceeds to DVRR.

COMMUNITY GARDEN MEET & CHAT group's last meeting for the season was December 9th and they will resume March 3, 2025.
