WEUC ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEUC ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Sunday March 5th 2023 after the service in the sanctuary. The 2022 Annual Report will be available for pick up on Sunday February 26th.

UCC EMERGENCY APPEAL - TURKEY EARTHQUAKE On Monday, February 6, a series of powerful earthquakes struck southern Turkey near the border with Syria. The quakes caused extensive damage and loss of lives. Today, people need emergency shelter, blankets, mattresses, clean water, food, and hygiene items. You can be a part of these efforts by donating now. Please use the envelope marked UCC Emergency Appeal - Turkey to make your donation and leave on the offering plate. Please include your envelope number. Donations received will be remitted on behalf of WEUC to United Church of Canada Emergency Appeal.

FAMILY DAY WEEKEND Monday February 20th the church will be closed. Have a happy long weekend.

LENTEN 4 WEEK BIBLE STUDY starting Wed. March 8 to March 29. English 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m./Korean 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom. To register, sign-up sheet is available at the back of the church. Outline will be available in the upcoming week for pick up.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER Friday March 3rd, at Agricola Finish Lutheran Church (25 Old York Mills Rd) 12 noon, lunch followed by service at 1 p.m. Service written by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Taiwan titled I Have Heard About Your Faith. All welcome.

COMMUNITY GARDEN MEET & CHAT meet every Mondays, 12 noon in the Friendship Room. There will be no meeting on Mon. Feb. 20th due to Family Day holiday.
