THANKSGIVING FOOD BANK DRIVE We want to encourage the congregation to help fill the hampers of needy families. Baskets are available in the Narthex for non-perishable food items. Food will be donated to the North York Harvest Food Bank.

BAPTISM'S VOWS AND RENEWAL FOR ADULTS: Rev. YoonOk Shin will offer 3 sessions for members who are interested in reaffirming their faith and renewal of their baptismal vows. If you are interested, please speak to Rev. YoonOk or contact the church office at 416-225-2309. We will plan for a Celebration of Baptism/Renewal of Faith in the future.

DON VALLEY REFUGEE RESETTLERS (DVRR) FUNDRAISING:

HONEY FOR SALE 100% Balsam Lake Wildflower Natural Honey Ontario No. 1 White will be available after Thanksgiving in the church office. $10 for the 500 grams jar (small); $20 for the 1 kilogram jar (large). This year, the honey is a beautiful golden colour from the apple blossoms, basswood, black locust, white clover, red clover and golden rod. FELLOWSHIP TIME: anyone who feels comfortable, is invited to join us for fellowship after the service for refreshments in the Community Garden (weather permitting).
COUNCIL NEWS We will begin all - English worship services however, the date is to be determined. To accommodate those who would like interpretation, WEUC will be providing headsets to allow Korean translation. The date of headset installation is to be determined. We will share more information with members who have any questions at the Congregational Meeting on October 3rd.
IN-PERSON WORSHIP: WEUC Emergency Response Team has determined that 50 people (45 attendees and 5 staff/worship participants) may gather for in-house worship. Public health and safety protocols will be in place. We will continue with live-stream and paper options via email for those worshipping from home.
COMMUNITY GARDEN MEET & CHAT will continue to meet every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Donations of food bank items (non-perishable & not expired) for the Food Bank accepted.
WEUC FREE ESL CLASS (LITERACY PROJECT) Wednesdays,10 a.m. to 12 noon in the Friendship Room. Open for everybody and all levels welcome! Learn at your own pace. Mandatory face masks, social distancing measures and all other health and safety protocols implemented. For more info call 416-225-2309.
