COUNCIL NEWS We will
begin all - English worship services with the date to be determined.To
accommodate those who would like interpretation, WEUC will be providing
headsets to allow Korean translation.The date of headset installation is to be determined. We will share more information with members
who have any questions at the Congregational Meeting on October 3rd.
WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY October 3rd 10:30 a.m.This
will be an outdoor service (weather permitting).
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Sunday Oct. 3rd, outdoors,immediately after the serviceto vote on the New Governance Model
for our church. The Governance document has been sent out to everyone to read
and review before the October 3rd meeting. Refreshments will be served after
IN-PERSON WORSHIP: WEUC Emergency Response Team
has determined that 50 people (45 attendees and 5
staff/worship participants) may gather for in-house worship. Public health and safety protocols will be in
place. We will continue with live-stream and paper
options via email for those worshipping from home.
FELLOWSHIP TIME: anyone who feels comfortable, is invited to join us for fellowship
after the service for refreshments in the Community Garden (weather permitting).
COMMUNITY GARDEN MEET & CHAT will continue to meet every Tuesday at 1:30
p.m.(weather permitting).Donations of food bank items (non-perishable & not
expired) for the Food Bank accepted.
FREE ESL CLASS (LITERACY PROJECT) Wednesdays,10 a.m. to 12 noon in the Friendship Room.Open for everybody and all levels welcome!Learn at your own pace. Mandatory face masks,
social distancing measures and all other health and safety protocols

SUNDAY & BAPTISM October 10th, 10:30 a.m.In-house and live
streaming service. Dedication of Food Bank items.
THANKSGIVING FOOD BANK DRIVE
We want to encourage the congregation to help fill the hampers of needy
families. The top five food bank items
are canned tomatoes, canned beans, canned fish, rice and household size
oil.These items come together to easily
prepare a nutritious meal.Baskets are
available in the Narthex for non-perishable food items. Food will be donated to
the North York Harvest Food Bank.
LIVE STREAMING If you are unable to watch
worship services live, you can view the live stream video later on our website
at www.weunitedchurch.comas soon as it becomes available.
BIRTHDAY RECOGNITIONSThe Spiritual Pastoral Care Committee will be
recognizing birthdays every first Sunday of the month . If you are celebrating

MEETING MINUTES As a way of keeping our congregation informed, WEUC
Approved Council meeting minutes are available to our members to include
financial and other submitted reports on a monthly basis.Please contact Lina in the church office if

their church givings while some are out of the building. For those not on
